Premier Sports Surfaces were responsible for the resurfacing of the open-air tennis court at the prestigious Montevetro building in London. This prestigious, impressive and iconic residential development, which overlooks the Thames has a no-compromise approach to the quality of the facilities available to its affluent residents. With this in mind we were honoured to be chosen to resurface this artificial grass court.
We offer a range of artificial grass court surfaces from the biggest names in the industry including Tiger Turf, Desso, Lano and Playrite. We install artificial or synthetic grass for home courts, clubs, schools and commercial installations and can also supply fencing and accessories to match.
Following the resurface, Premier Sports Surfaces' Maintenance Team carry out routine maintenance visits to the tennis court at the Montevetro Building.

Construction of the tennis facility at Colchester Garrison was one of our flagship projects and is presently our largest ever contract at a cost of over £550,000.
Premier Sports Surfaces installed a total of six all-weather tennis courts (three with flood-lighting) at the Garrison in Essex. This was a full-build project which was designed, planned and constructed by the Premier Sports Surfaces team. Due to the large amount of year-around use the Colchester garrison courts receive, the MOD opted for resilient, hard court surfaces with each court being 120 x 44ft.
At Premier Sports Surfaces we don’t just undertake large commercial projects such as this but also install tennis courts at homes, schools and sports clubs.
The 108, known as Europe's largest baseball and softball training centre, made a strategic choice in selecting artificial grass as the surface for it’s baseball pitch. This decision likely enhances durability and consistency, key factors for high-traffic sports facilities. To ensure the surface remains in top condition, Premier Sports Surfaces' Maintenance Team conducts routine maintenance on the pitch. Their upkeep visits help sustain the quality, playability, and longevity of the artificial grass, ensuring that the 108's facilities remain at a high standard for athletes and coaches alike.
New Hall School has achieved impressive rankings, placing as the top of 150 schools in the UK and securing the 6th position out of 20 independent schools in East Anglia. Renowned for it’s extensive sports facilities, New Hall School carefully chose a Macadam Porous Tarmac surface for it’s MUGA. This surface allows for versatile use, accommodating both tennis and netball with optimal performance.
To enhance visibility and align with their school branding, New Hall opted for red and a darker green as the primary colours, while vibrant yellow netball lines ensure clarity against the backdrop. Traditional white lines are used for tennis, providing a professional and visually distinct setup that supports both sports effectively. This meticulous approach highlights New Hall’s commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics.
Premier Sports Surfaces recently had the pleasure of installing a new basketball court at New Hall School, complete with a dedicated shooting practice net. This project follows our previous work on resurfacing ten Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs) on campus. It’s been an honour to support the development of this prestigious school’s sports facilities, helping them grow their grounds to match their students' ambitions.
To deliver the best playing experience, New Hall School selected Porous Tarmac for their basketball surface. This choice enhances performance and durability, ensuring that students enjoy a high-quality court for years to come.
Premier Sports Surfaces proudly resurfaced three clay courts and one single grass court for the Georgians. Clay courts, a staple among the Grand Slam tennis surfaces, offer the slowest pace, creating an ideal training environment. This slower court encourages players to focus on refining skill, strategy, and technique, rather than depending solely on powerful serves or groundstrokes. Additionally, these courts are designed with optimal drainage, picking up minimal moisture compared to artificial grass, and allow for easier frost management. Courts are playable year-round, only limited by extreme conditions such as heavy snow or deep frost.
