Prices

  • How much does a deep clean cost?

The price of a deep clean depends on what type of surface you have, the size and current condition.

We typically charge a day rate of £495 + VAT for deep pressure cleaning and £650 + VAT for mechanical brushing artificial grass surfaces. Discounts are offered when signing up to a maintenance package.

Services

  • Do you install fencing?

Yes, at Premier Sports Surfaces, we offer fencing installation as part of our comprehensive sports surface installation and renovation services. We supply and install both chain-link and twin wire fencing systems, with gates, basketball posts and/or goal recesses, which are the most popular options for sports facilities.

For sports like tennis and netball, we recommend chain-link fencing for its durability and versatility. Twin wire fencing, on the other hand, is ideal for football pitches, as it provides enhanced strength and resistance to ball impact.

In addition to our standard designs, we offer a variety of fence styles to suit your needs. If you’re looking for something unique, we can also create completely bespoke solutions using other materials tailored to your specific requirements.

Surfaces

  • Which is the right surface for my needs?

To recommend the ideal surface for your needs, we start by assessing the sports you’ll be using the surface for. Next, we evaluate site requirements—such as susceptibility to flooding—to suggest a surface that's easy to clean and maintain.

We’ll guide you through a series of questions, including:

    • Type of project (private installation, public school, or council facility)
    • Age of users
    • Budget requirements
    • Size of the area
    • Access during construction
    • Maintenance upkeep

Based on your answers, we’ll present a selection of surfaces from various categories. We work with a range of suppliers, not just a few partners, to ensure you have a choice that aligns with your personal preferences.

  • Why should I choose a polymeric surface for my MUGA?

Polymeric sports surfaces are synthetic surfaces made from layers of rubber and polyurethane, offering a range of advantages for various sports facilities. These surfaces are particularly popular for track and field, tennis courts, and multi-use game areas (MUGAs).

    Key Benefits:

    1. Durability and Longevity:

      • Polymeric surfaces are highly resistant to wear and tear, providing a long-lasting solution that can withstand heavy use and varying weather conditions without significant degradation.
    2. Excellent Shock Absorption:

      • The rubberized composition of polymeric surfaces offers superior shock absorption, reducing impact on athletes’ joints and muscles, and helping to prevent injuries.
    3. All-Weather Playability:

      • Polymeric surfaces maintain their performance in different weather conditions, including rain, thanks to their water-permeable nature, which prevents waterlogging and allows quick drainage.
    4. Versatility:

      • These surfaces are suitable for a wide range of sports, including tennis, basketball, netball, and athletics, making them ideal for multi-use sports facilities.
    5. Low Maintenance:

      • Unlike natural surfaces, polymeric surfaces require minimal maintenance, with no need for regular watering, mowing, or reseeding. Routine cleaning and occasional resurfacing are usually sufficient to keep them in top condition.
    6. Consistent Performance:

      • The even, non-slip texture of polymeric surfaces ensures consistent traction and ball behavior, providing a reliable playing experience for athletes.
    7. Customisation:

      • Polymeric surfaces can be tailored to specific sports requirements, with customisable thickness and surface properties to meet the needs of different activities.
    8. Environmental Benefits:

      • Many polymeric surfaces are made with recycled materials and can be fully recycled at the end of their lifespan, contributing to environmental sustainability.
    9. Safety and Compliance:

      • Polymeric surfaces often meet safety and performance standards set by sports governing bodies, ensuring they provide a high-quality, safe playing environment.

Overall, polymeric sports surfaces offer a robust, safe, and versatile option for a wide range of sports, providing a high-performance, low-maintenance solution that enhances the athletic experience.
