Our History
Formerly known as Tennis 2000 - Our company was originally established in 1989 by John Pearce Snr with a focus on creating exclusive tennis courts delivered with care, attention to detail, and exceptional craftsmanship.
Thirty years later, and we’re not just at the forefront of innovation in this highly competitive space – we have expanded our services to encompass all manner of sports surfaces, rebranded to Premier Sports Surfaces, ensuring we truly are the first port of call for developers, independent schools, public authorities and end users in search of best-in-class solutions.

We are proud to be a trusted partner for projects across London and the Home Counties, with most of our work coming through direct recommendations. Beyond our commercial projects, we excel as the leading provider of private home courts and surfaces, boasting hundreds of domestic design and renovation projects.
Notably, our largest project involved constructing 12 championship-sized tennis courts and 3 5-a-side football pitches for the Ministry of Defence Colchester Garrison in collaboration with Sir Robert McAlpine Construction. We also installed a stunning rooftop tennis court at the Montevetro Building in South West London, created the UK's first indoor baseball pitch at The 108, and had the honor of featuring one of our installations at a Nike event with global tennis stars Roger Federer and Serena Williams.
Our courts have made their mark on film and TV series and are installed at some of the UK's most iconic and prestigious venues.
